In Tetris, lines are made by moving variously shaped pieces (tetrominoes), which fall onto the playing field. After the finished lines vanish and are worth points, the player can carry on by filling in the remaining spaces. The game is over when the uncleared lines reach the top of the field. The player's score will increase the more time they can purchase. In multiplayer games, players must outlast their opponents; in some versions, players can penalize opponents by completing a significant number of lines successfully.
